Scientific Contributions

General Guidelines

Scientific contributions are welcome on any topic related to “Supramolecular Chemistry”. The official language of the conference will be English. Scientific program includes: Plenary Lectures, Keynote Lectures, oral and flash Communications, Poster Presentations.

Authors are kindly requested to submit their abstract in English specifying their interest in being selected for an oral communication or for a poster presentation.

Abstract Preparation and Submission

The abstract should be written following the MS Word template that can be found below.

Please save the file in MS Word format as

and send it by email to: supramol2022@unisa.it.


Deadline for abstract communications will be April 25th, 2022.

In response to some requests, the regular abstract submission deadline for the XV Italian Conference on Supramolecular chemistry has been extended until 10 May 2022.


Authors will be notified by e-mail whether their abstract has been accepted or rejected no later than May 5th 2022, and in case of acceptance, about the form of presentation (oral or poster).
A pdf version of the Conference Proceedings will be available as soon as possible at the “Book of Abstract page”.

Grants

A limited number of student assistance grants will be offered to students attending the meeting, to cover the registration fee.

Applicants must submit the following documents together with the abstract:

  • a short CV, indicating the position, the name of the tutor
  • written declaration signed by the thesis supervisor, which accredits the student status.
  • Form that you can download from this web

The deadline for submitting applications is April 20th 2022.

Attention: Anyone interested in submitting an application or who has already done so is requested not to pay anything until the organizing committee communicates acceptance.

Guidelines for presenters

The time length of the different kind of communications will be:

  • Plenary lectures: 50 minutes (45 min. for presentation + 5 min. for questions)
  • Keynote lectures: 30 minutes (25 min. for presentation + 5 min. for questions)
  • Oral Communications: 20 minutes (15 min. for presentation + 5 min. for questions)
  • Flash Communications: 7 minutes for presentation

All speakers will be provided with a video projector and a laptop for their Power Point presentation. The slide size for the PowerPoint presentation should be set to widescreen (16:9)

Poster size is 70 cm wide and 100 cm high), in portrait format (no landscape) and it should include a photo of the presenting author in one of the top corners. A poster number will be assigned to each abstract and will be announced to the presenting author. Poster presenters are responsible for setting up and removing the posters.
